What a great video, I've wanted one of these for the longest time, but the AA is out of my reach, and the Greenlight has been out of production for a long time. No way I'm paying Ebay prices, but the heavens opened up and the Greenlight version (with white tire lettering I might add) are back in retailers again, for about $70 give or take. I just bought mine on Walmart for $62.95 with free shipping, after waiting for like at least a year or so. But it'll be worth it, such a cool looking car, and normally I won't buy a 1/18 if the hood/bonnet doesn't open, but with a blower, I thought, no problem there. Friday the 30 is the big day. Weeee

hey, I have this exact model but in red, with black seats and a 09 on the side, it also says GW Motorsport team racing on one emblem, cant find it anywhere. Do you know how much is it worth? is it rare? or do I just have a bootleg?

Well, they say John Deere ain't what it used to be, and Cub seems to be better than the cheaper brands, so If you want a good mower, I guess you gotta go with a Scag, Exmark, Bad Boy, Gravely etc. if you don't mind remortgaging the house.

I purchased this same replacement for my 2000 VW Golf. That plastic ridge along the back prevents it from sliding in all the way which prevents the side tabs from clicking into place. I returned it.

That's a nice model. There's a James Bond car from the first movie Dr. No, it's a 57 Chevy Belaire V8 black convertible with a red interior. The official "Bond 007" version is like $80. I bought the same exact model without all the Bond 007 branding for $13, so same thing, there are some real bargains if you sniff around a bit.

Hi, great video. Interesting way to overcome bad design. I just posted a video about replacing that same cable. did not have either of your issues. mine was a 1046. However I did notice that the bolt you used for the cable bracket flexed as soon s you engaged the handle. I cannot help but think that the bolt will not hold up very long under use. perhaps a 3/8 bolt or use washers to give more lateral strength to the threads. overall a great video though.

I would have made a brace on the back side where the cable connectson that bolt. Cause when you engage it, you can see the stress it's taking. It was trying to pull it forwards and over time may screw that hole up and pull forwards too much. A brace on the backside to stabilize it and take the force when you engage it would be good. Otherwise pretty good job for a pretty crap design.

And see how cubs decks are alot similar to deeres decks their nothing like craftsman decks but craftsman makes those. My Lt1042 is lacking power in reverse and in drive i just got its rigged up deck going today so after putting a used deck belt on i seen why the belts been shredding up from the deck engagement pulley bracket so i took the spring off and wired the pulley to stay in place so its just acting as a belt guide because the big deck doesn't go to the mower i don't even know what size the deck is thats on mine but one good thing now is its no longer shredding belts poor woman couldn't get it fixed right but her mowers lacking speed

That's the style I'm looking for but can't find it. Do you have part number or link to ebay part? The one I see that's similar has a curved lip up but want more of a flat one like yours.
